Just in the nick of time...

I can remember as a child watching a cartoon where a damsel in distress was tied to the railroad tracks and a locomotive train would be approaching full speed ahead. I can still remember in my mind the increase in the tempo of the background music as the camera shots flipped back and forth between the damsel tied to the tracks and approaching train. I can also remember thinking where is the superhero? Will the hero be able to save them in time? The intensity of the scene would increase more and more as the damsel in distress and the train approaching would both now be sharing the same film frame. And just when you thought it was too late the Superhero would show up and rescue the damsel right before the train reached the spot where she was tied. Sometimes that is how life is for us, we may not be tied to railroad tracks but we maybe tied to a situation or circumstance that have us bound and we need a breakthrough. We must pray, praise and wait on God to send us our breakthrough. Sometimes minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and even years pass and just when you think your situation or circumstance is going to overtake you the Lord sends a breakthrough into your Life freeing you of whatever had you bound. There is an old church clique that says "He might not come when you want him, but He is always on time". As we go through this life we must always know God will never leave nor forsake us, He will go with us even to the ends of the earth. So next time you are tied to the "tracks of life" remember he is "Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound" be encouraged TMAC
